Opeth - метал-группа из Швеции. Для ранней музыки Opeth характерно тяжёлое дэт-металическое звучание с добавлением мелодичных партий акустической гитары, элементов джаза, блюза и прогрессивного рока 1970-х годов. Вокалист Микаэль Окерфельдт использует как чистый вокал, так и гроулинг. Название группы взято из книги Уилбура Смита The Sunbird, где «Opet» было названием вымышленного города.
