Британская рок-группа, основанная в 1967 году в Лондоне под названием Tyrannosaurus Rex как акустический фолк-роковый дуэт Марка Болана и Стива Перегрина Тука. Являлись одними из ярчайших представителей «Британского Андеграунда». В 1969 название было сокращено до T. Rex; добившись большого успеха в британских чартах начала 1970-х годов, группа стала одной из ведущих в глэм-рок-движении и просуществовала до смерти Болана в 1977 году.
